Never! We believe in responsibly sourcing and testing ingredients. If it's not safe for the environment or found naturally, then it's not found on our label. We would never testing anything on animals. Not even a consideration.
Are OMganics skincare products hypo-allergenic?
In short, YES! We avoid using harmful ingredients like parabens, phthalates and toxins that could cause an allergic reaction for the most sensitive and delicate skin. Additionally, we use superior quality ingredients that are not only safe and effective, they are also naturally and when possible, organic. We wouldn't think of using anything that would harm your precious ones.
You’re called OMganics. Does that mean your products are all certified organic?
Great question but right now, no. Not every items in our line is 100% organic and may never be due to some ingredients not being available as organic. Right now many of our products are 93% organic certified. Now, we can assure you, without a doubt that every ingredient in our products are baby-safe. We are focused and committed to using high quality ingredients to create  natural, safe and effective products your little bundle of joy and the world it's living in. I know this may come to a surprise to you but  just because a formula is made with “organic” ingredients doesn't guarantee that it is a "safe" product to use on your baby or your family. In short, our products contain plant-based natural and organic ingredients that were carefully formulated to meet standards safe for babies and children.
Where does OMganics source ingredients?
At OMganics we believe in using nothing but the highest quality ingredients in our products. To do this, we must source our ingredients internationally yet we are always mindful of how the ingredients are grown, gathered, processed and transported. Many of our essential oils (Lavender Oil-European) is sourced across the pond due to it not being readily available here in the states. In doing this, we are in close contact with our suppliers to ensure the purity of each ingredient and the farms it came from.
Are OMganics ingredients sourced from suppliers that share your values / philosophy / practices?
We are in close contact with all of our suppliers. Every aspect from our manufacturing process to selecting our essential oils is carefully thought out. Our manufacture currently is solar powered and all of our essential oils are responsibly sources and organic. We are always searching for ways to improve and help make our planet a healthier, happier home.
Do you use preservatives?
Yes. And here’s why: all skincare and cleaning products can get contaminated without preservatives and can breed harmful bacteria and microorganisms. So we use effective but low level, safety-tested preservative systems. And tested, proven, baby safe products is what we’re all about.
Do you use GMOs?
Never! This would not be in allignment with our core values and principles. You will never have to worry about us using anythign containing GMOs.
What is Non-GMO?
This means the plant has not been genetically modified.
Is Non-GMO and Organic the same thing?
NO! Just because you have not genetically modified your plant doesn't mean that the use of harmful chemicals isn’t present. However; you can't certify a GMO crop organic. So to be organic you must be Non.-GMO.
What is an essential oil?
An essential oil is a concentrated hydrophobic liquid containing volatile aroma compounds from plants. Essential oils are also known as volatile oils, ethereal oils, aetherolea, or simply as the "oil of" the plant from which they were extracted, such as oil of clove. An oil is "essential" in the sense that it contains the "essence of" the plant's fragrance—the characteristic fragrance of the plant from which it is derived. Essential oils are generally extracted by distillation, often by using steam. Essential oils have been used medicinally in history.
Are the essential oils in Omganics safe to use?
Yes! The essential oils used in our products are pure, high quality oils and have been properly diluted/integrated for safety and effectiveness.
Are all essential oils the same?
NO! Essential oils come from plants and the only way to ensure you are using a superior oil is to ensure that it is certified organic and/or therapeutic grade or from bio-dynamic farms. Otherwise, there is no guarantee that no harmful pesticides used when growing the source plants. Being Non-GMO simply isn't enough.
What is the difference between an essential oil an oil such as olive oil?
Fixed oils, such as olive oil, are volatile and evaporate when left open.  They too have certain therapeutic and aromatic properties, which can be used to promote health and well-being. Fixed oils are often used as carrier oils for essential oil blends and dilute their concentration, making them more subtle, for even the most sensitive of skins to use.
How are your products sustainable?
Yes they are! We developed this line to not just be better for our baby but be better for earth as well. For this reason we decided not to use an organic cotton wipe (which uses a lot of water to grow and isn’t sustainable) and instead use a bio-degradable, compostable, eco-friendly and medical grade wipe that was made from recycled wood pulp. With the wipe being the part that was simply tossed away, having this as eco as possible was more important to us than being certified organic. We also use less waste packaging and manufacturing facilities that are EPA approved and ran by solar power.
Can I use your products for my family?
You don’t have to be a baby to enjoy the benefits of our Omganics Baby products line. They are especially great for anyone with sensitive skin. Our products are ment to be safe for everyone, and most of all, babies.  So go ahead, let everyone in the family use them but be warned, once you start, you will never go back to another brand ever again!
Can I clean my kids’ toys with OMganics wipes?
Of course! The ingredients are plant-based natural and organic. Lavender is known to be an amazing sanitizing essential oil and it is completely safe. Heck might as well clean your make-up brushes and daily items with them too!

We know many of the scientific names of some of our ingredients can be overwhelming. we decided to break it down for you, so you can feel more confident in the products you and your family are using in your home.

What is tocopherol?
Tocopherol, or Vitamin E. When looking at a label of any skincare cosmetic, you will not find the word “vitamin E” on such a label, as international cosmetic labelling prohibits the use of the word “vitamin” on the label, and the vitamin E will most likely be listed as tocopherol.
Vitamin E has a natural affinity to the skin but the amount of vitamin E is reduced in the skin when exposed to sunlight. REF 89
Environmental pollutants, as well as oxidative material in the body, cause the formation of “free radicals” which are unpaired oxygen molecules, which wreaks havoc on the cells, and cause extensive damage, which directly results in premature aging.
Vitamin E is a very effective antioxidant, chemically mediated by the phenolic OH group of the chromane ring, and helps to remove the formed “free radicals” and thereby ensures that oxidative damage does not occur, by disrupting the chain reaction caused by the free radicals.
